NORTH-EAST COAST (Costa Smeralda – Southern Corsica)
One week sailing cruise in the splendid scenery of the Costa Smeralda and Southern Corsica.

1st day
From Porto Cervo we are heading Nord and after a few miles we will see the magnificent Maddalena Archipelago rising. The first isle to visit is Caprera, the isle where Garibaldi fell in love with and decided to call it his home. Without a doubt the most important of the isles, not only for its beauty but also for its history. Integrated in an old fortress rises the famous sailing centre of Caprera.

The first stop is Cala Coticcio, also known as “Tahiti”, with its beautiful bay, formed by two white beaches and characteristic pink rocks. The next stop is Cala Brigantina, hidden after big rocks, it reveals itself in al its magnificent glory, here we will stop and have lunch. In the afternoon we will navigate to Porto Palma, head office of the sailing centre, we will stay the night at anchor or spend it at Palau.


2nd day

Departure from Palau, we pass the whole west part of the Maddalena, first stop at Cala Corsara, incredible beach, decorated by granite rocks of spectacular forms, designed by the wind.

We are at the isle Spargi, an uninhabited isle, where nature hasn’t lost its way. The lunch stop is auspicious in one of the bays and we will spend the night at the isle Maddalena, the only one which has human settlement.

3rd day
The North-west part is the most beautiful side and there for the most frequented side. We pass the day, visiting the isles Santa Maria, Budelli and Razzoli, a beautiful piece of nature with Mediterranean plants and Fauna. We set sail for Corsica with its particular landscapes and isles of rare beauty.
First stop will be the isle Lavezzi, where incredible sceneries haven’t lost its intensity. Nature has conserved its beauty without any human settlement. In the afternoon we will go to the isle Cavallo, which has also a harbor, the night we spend at the Port of Bonifacio.

5th day
We leave Corsica and set sail for Santa Teresa di Gallura, here we have to stop at Capo Testa, a characteristic promontory of granite in a clear blue sea. Famous for its Valle della Luna and its sceneries of a surreal beauty.

Heading East we pass the incredible landscapes of Porto Puddu, Porto Liscia and Isle dei Gabbiani (of seagulls) a famous surfspot. In the afternoon we sail to the port of Cannigione where we spend the night.

6th day
From Cannigione we set sail for the South till we reach Isle Mortorio, which owes its name to an ancient Tuna fish trap, this is a Nature park with a lot of species of marine birds. Their nests are at the huge heights of the gorges.
The isle is divided in two zones: at the west side there is a beach with fine white sand and at the east side there is a beach of little pink granite pebbles. In front of this isle we see isle of Soffi with its plane profile and rocky bays. At the north side we admire the numerous isles Le Camere. The lunch stop will be at Cala Razza di Giunco and in the afternoon we will visit the numerous bays of the south coast such as Cala Liscia Ruia, Cala Pietra Bianca and Cala Pedra Niedda. The night at anchor at Cala di Volpe.

7th day
In the morning we visit Porto di Li Coggi , the white sand beaches, great vegetation and the transparent water of the sea here makes this part of Sardinia one of the most spectacular parts.
We sail to the north to Ramazzino where we stop for the lunch. Further up north we visit Porto Liscia and Isle of Nibani, both beautiful examples of nature. From this point we will return, tired but satisfied about all those unforgettable moments, to Porto Cervo.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
